The Joy Rider Folding Powerchair brings you a modern, practical chair that is both compact and lightweight.
Before folding, the motor unit can be dismantled (if required) to keep the heaviest part under 14kg. This handy feature ensures it can be lifted into the car boot with ease.
The user has full control over direction and speed by using the ergonomic joystick. In fact, the chair even turns on its own axis which provides excellent manoeuvrability in tight spaces.
An electromagnetic brake ensures that the electric wheelchair stops once the joystick is released. This safety feature will keep the chair from rolling forwards or backwards when on an incline.
The batteries on this powerchair have been approved for air travel, so would be a perfect addition for those who travel frequently. Charging the battery is easy with options to charge while it is in situ or off-board.
