The Dashi MG is an ultra-lightweight powerchair that you’ll find has a weight similar to many wheelchairs.
It still retains the characteristically sleek paintwork of the Dashi, but with a weight of just 15kg without the battery or 17kg with the battery.
What’s different though is that this powerchair is great if you want someone to push. The manual freewheel levers on each motor can be disabled, allowing the chair to be manoeuvred manually.
This can also be customised for attendant control. Once the joystick is mounted on the back, it allows the attendant or caregiver to have full control without the effort of pushing.
The chair takes about 10 seconds to fold to a compact size, ready for your car boot or a small storage area.
You’ll find it suitable for both indoors and outdoors, and with a travel distance of up to 9 miles (14km), it will handle most small trips.
All in all, the Dashi MG is an ideal solution for those who want a comfortable hybrid chair that is both lightweight and compact.

I've just taken delivery of my first power chair. From the very beginning I was very impressed with the staff in the Waterlooville Showroom. Joe and his team made sure that I was well looked after and supportive throughout the research and purchasing phase. He answered questions clearly and was an excellent communicator.
