It is a fully supportive rail which is designed to be placed next to a toilet to increase safety when lowering and raising. A simple mechanism allows it to be locked and out of the way when not in use.
The additional support bar is height adjustable too, enabling the support arm to be set at various heights to suit most users. It also has rubber feet to reduce slipping on wet floors.
